Hello there! My name is Moose and I want to share a little bit about my mom, Amber, the Grooming Manager here at the Resort!
First, I want to let you know that I practically own the joint. I make sure everyday that all of our groom dogs have the best time before, after and during their appointments! I, also, rely on Taco, my Chihuahua best friend! He is the muscle, and I am the brains.
We are both fully trained service dogs and aid our mom with anything that she may need through her day. My mom makes everything fun and safe here in our grooming department. She was a vet tech for over five years, enabling her to be well versed in safety; including special needs, first-aid and CPR! Mom trained dogs and horses on and off her whole life. ( - I don't mean horse, as in me. I get that a lot being a Great Dane!)
She's a lover of all animals and when I say, "all animals." I literally mean everything you can find in a zoo! We have many furry (and not so furry) friends and family at home. You might have met Milton; the tortoise, or Tiki; the blue and gold Macaw, while here at the Resort. Just to name a couple! They like to visit from time to time. ( - And; no, Tiki is NOT in charge! Even though he thinks he is!)

Hello! I'm Jessica, and my journey with animals started in Chicago. I graduated Douglas J. Aveda Institute in 2016. Having a passion for the hair industry, my favorite part of the job was making others feel and look their best!
I moved back to Peoria in 2018, and it was a great change. Being an avid animal lover my entire life; it was for the better! My best childhood memory was helping my grandparents care for their animals at their ranch, back in Mexico.
I worked as a Pet Stylist at Petco for two years, and I started at Waggin' Tails in 2023 as a daycare attendant. When I'm not playing with your fur babies in the yards, I'm downstairs taking care of the variety of coats that enter the door. The most rewarding part of my job is helping the dogs feel comfortable. Being a groomer is a dream come true for me! When I was younger, I loved watching Tabitha Takes Over. My favorite episodes would be the dog salon ones. I knew from a young age that this was the right field for me!

I have two dogs of my own, Coco, my Rottie mix, and Kirby, my Doodle. They are my foster fail from Grafelman Farm. It's a wonderful rescue facility, in my opinion! Yoshi, my Husky, is also back home with my parents.
On my free time, I go on hikes with my partner and go to anime conventions. My favorite, current anime would be My Hero Academia or Attack on Titan. My over-all favorite is for sure Death Note. Animal Crossing is my favorite video game, and I also enjoy cosplaying as my favorite characters. My next goal from here is to start and Etsy shop to sell bows and bandanas!
