Meet the Owner

​

Lisa Kennell-Dully has loved animals all of her life and has shared her love with a host of family pets, including five dogs, llamas, a mini horse, a mini donkey, quarter horses and several barn cats. Her passion began as a young child, growing up on a farm in Roanoke, Illinois. She not only helped her family raise cattle, goats, horses and rabbits, but cared for and nurtured animals that nobody else wanted.  After many years of working in an office, she finally decided to follow her true passion. In 2010, with the encouragement of her father, Lisa decided to make a huge life change. She left a steady full-time job managing a dentist’s office to open a small dog boarding facility in Goodfield, Illinois. She’s never regretted it.  Since then she’s been pouring her heart and soul into providing loving care for many pets. Lisa CPR certified, holds the “Dog Guru” certification and takes part in continuing education for the very best in dog care. Her daughter, Alaina, also loves animals and devotes hours helping care for their pets.

Over the years, Lisa noticed a need for a doggy daycare in Peoria so she decided to expand.  Big dreams have become a reality with a new, state-of-the-art facility in Peoria with all the amenities to make your dog feel right at home.
